In New York City, Asbestos abatement is regulated by
the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

Lead Based Paint abatement is regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Anyone conducting lead-based paint (LBP) activities, MUST be certified by the EPA.

Any state or local government agency may order lead abatement, requiring specialized techniques that local construction contractors typically do not have.

Mold in the air outside can also attach itself to clothing, shoes, bags, and pets can and be carried indoors.

Mold will grow on any environment where a moisture condition exists.

Any medium or material may be safely removed from any surface through the careful and complete
processes of sandblasting.
